Glock 19 Pistol Take Down – Disassembly & Lubrication

Many first time gun buyers may feel intimidated by the parts of a Glock or other polymer pistol.  It’s really not hard to take down a Glock 19 and it’s similar for most other polymer pistols.  Most pistols, when taken down only have 4 parts that come off.  They are the slide, barrel, recoil spring and frame.  There are no other small parts that you need to be worried about losing or putting in the wrong place.  Some people never clean their firearms simply because they don’t know how to disassemble them.
