Description

Dark Horse Tactical has teamed up with elite Law Enforcement Tactical Teams and former SF members to produce the ultimate fighting carbine.

DHT trains active law enforcement, security professionals and civilians in firearms, tactics and skills. The members of their instructor cadre all have extensive military or law enforcement experience and have served as members of Tier 1 units, law enforcement tactical teams, private security contractors and executive protective details.

The core of the design is reliability, efficiency and precision. Every component has been hand selected, tested and approved by the instructors at DHT and other advisers to produce the best custom defensive carbine out of the box, nothing more, nothing less.

Multiple rifle variations have been used over the last several years during civilian and law enforcement training engagements from mountainous desert conditions to indoor urban settings, and the DHT-15 has performed flawlessly.

While the Dark Horse Tactical Carbine was born from real life experience, it is the ideal platform for home defense and utility rifle purposes.

The rifle is built upon a Dark Horse Tactical all billet receiver, Geissele SSA trigger, Magpul MIAD grip, Bravo Company ambidextrous charging handle, Seekins Precision short through ambidextrous safety selector, Magpul MOE stock, Rubber City Arms BCG, 16” government profile mid length gas 1-8 twist barrel, STNGR 13.5″ ultra light weight M-lok rail, NG2 MZLMAX muzzle device.

Additional features available: Rail Scale Karve hand stop and Elzetta mini CQB 1 cell weapons light w/ mount.

Lower

The DHT-15 Billet Lower is made of 7075 T6 billet aluminum with a Cerakote protective coating. All dimensions are designed to accept all Milspec internals, stocks, grips, magazines and most accessories. We designed our lower with an ample magazine well to allow for smooth magazine changes in high stress situations and the integrated trigger guard is broad with rounded edges for comfort whether you are on patrol, competing or in an all day training class.

Upper

All DHT uppers are 7075 T6 billet aluminum with a Cerakote coating. Our base upper has several upgrades to include a 1/8” twist barrel made of 416 stainless steel. The receiver is equipped with M4 feed ramps and the upper comes with a STNGR 15” or 13.5” RPTR M-Lok rail with a Redcon1 Tactical low pro gas block and melonited gas tube. Rubber City Armory Black Nitrided BCG for added reliability and easy maintenance is standard.

The Rubber City Armory (RCA) is an enhanced Bolt Carrier Group coated in an advanced Black Nitriding process to create a BCG that requires minimal lubrication, is corrosion and wear resistant and is the easiest BCG to clean.
