Description
I have several varieties of kits available. These kits come in “80% complete” condition, and you should expect minor finishing work or tuning required, as well as a thorough cleaning. Other than needing a final tuning and polishing, these guns are EXACT reproductions of historical examples. Italian guns are very high quality, but they are historically inaccurate in many ways, the primary one being barrel thickness and overall weight of the gun. You will notice comparing side-by-side that Pedersolis are 2-3lb heavier than my kits.
All guns sold in kit form are significantly reduced in price. Typically you will save $100-200 PER FIREARM over retail costs. I am a wholesaler of these items, as well as an importer, and I supply many sutlers in the reenacting community.
The following are currently for sale:
-Enfield Tower Musket
60 caliber
Caplock
Rosewood furniture
Blued steel/brass furnishings
Includes new bayonet (also in kit form) and used scabbard: $425
NOTICE: There are also two ‘gunsmith specials’ that will require additional work, and thus are discounted to $400. These gunsmith specials DO include the bayonet and scabbard still.
-Enfield Cavalry Carbine
60 caliber
Caplock
Rosewood furniture
Blued Steel/Brass Furnishings
Features a very cool swivel ramrod, intended to keep the ramrod from falling out as cavalrymen galloped over the battlefield. If I were recommending just one gun, this would be it. Small, inexpensive, great fun for regular and smaller-frame shooters alike: $325
-Double-barrel Shotgun
20GA
Caplock
Rosewood furniture
Blued Steel Furnishings
Many people have purchased these to turn into ‘coach guns’, because there are no barrel length requirements for black powder. These will require a little more work than average, due to two barrels, so the price has been adjusted $200 below retail accordingly: $500
All shipping is at-cost, about $40 for a single firearm. More firearms purchased at once means cheaper shipping. It’s only $60 to ship two firearms for example.
Email me anytime, I am happy to answer questions, or walk you through finishing your firearm.
