This is a coveted German made Weatherby Mark 5 Deluxe chambered in .257 Weatherby Magnum caliber. This was Roy Weatherby’s favorite cartridge and is still one of the flattest shooting rounds on the market today. Not a brush buster, but a very fast, hard-hitting caliber where the bullet doesn’t even begin the slightest drop until after 300 yards.
Getting ready for hunting season was a snap at the gun range, as this gun prints on a dime, at 100 yards with 100 grain bullets, will print less than 3/4″ groups every time.
The overall bluing on this gun is about 95% condition, with a small rubbing on the top of the barrel, and a tiny bit on the end. The stock is in 98% condition, with a few very slight and small marks.
