Developed after years of extensive research and testing White Flyer has added the White Flyer Bio to our product line. Realizing the sensitivity of the issues facing gun club and shooting ranges, it took over 15 years to develop a biodegradable target that would meet the needs of the 21st century. This biodegradable target shares all the superior flight and breakability characteristics of the Standard White Flyer target and is available in orange top, all orange, orange dome, all black and all white. The White Flyer Bio targets are held to the same strict performance requirements as our standard targets and function in both hand set and automatic traps. All White Flyer Bio targets will biodegrade at least 95% within two years, depending on rainfall or contact with moisture into elements found in nature. White Flyer History Reagent Chemical and Research, Inc. entered the clay target market in 1979 with the purchase of White Flyer Targets from Olin Industries, the manufacturer of Winchester ammunition and other products. This purchase signaled the end of an era that saw Olin-Winchester provide clay targets for the shooting sports from their infancy and the start of a new era for White Flyer and Reagent Chemical. Currently White Flyer operates four state of the art target manufacturing facilities throughout the United States to ensure total coverage of the country plus Canada: Coal Township – Pennsylvania Plant, (Eastern U.S.), San Bernardino – California Plant, (Western U.S.) and Webb City – Missouri Plant, (Central U.S.) and Knox – Indiana Plant, (Northeast U.S.). The White Flyer Biodegradable Target is environmentally friendly and non-toxic. Used for trap, skeet, sporting clays, or recreational shooting, these targets are usable in both hand set and automatic trap machines.
